Join Miss Eliza for songs, rhymes, and bounces followed by a short playtime. While the activities provided are targeted toward babies, older siblings are welcome to enjoy the session.

Rhyme Time is an interactive program consisting of various, fun skill-building activities such as rhymes, songs, bounces and more.  The program incorporates musical instruments, scarves and parachutes.

Join us to share stories, songs, rhymes, and crafts! This storytime is structured to focus on kindergarten readiness skills. Parent participation is encouraged.

English language learners are invited to join us at the library to practice speaking and listening skills while making new friends in a casual, conversational atmosphere.

All levels are welcome! 

Parents and babies are invited to join us for this drop-in, unstructured open baby play. It is a perfect time to play and give baby an chance to interact with others while caregivers get to know one another.

If English is not your first language, join us at the library to practice your speaking and listening skills and improve your English vocabulary in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. All levels and ages are welcome!

To help us better manage donations, we ask all individuals wanting to donate three or more boxes of material to register for an appointment. You may arrive anytime between 10 am and 12 noon with your donation. 

Join us for an illuminating activity for young stargazers! Create your own constellations using LED lights, conductive thread, an embroidery hoop and battery.

Create structures and stories during an hour of free play with our LEGO® collection!

Learn about the basics of mindfulness, a practice designed to keep us centered and aware in the moment, in this calming and relaxing storytime! In addition to reading together, we’ll learn some breathing and movement exercises.

The Animation Club is an opportunity for early-stage creatives to come together and learn about animation.

Participants will create edible, gross and ghoulish, spookily-themed creations in honor of Halloween. Participants should wear old clothing that can get stained; parents should let the librarian know about any food allergies in advance!

Author and history aficionado Tobin T. Buhk unveils the truth behind some of Michigan’s most fiendish crimes.

A body has been found in the library, and it is clear that something fishy is going on. Students in grades 6-12 are encouraged to bring their sleuthing skills and get down to the bottom of this baffling mystery.

Want to get better at playing chess? Join us to hone your skills! Attendees should come already knowing how pieces move across the board for these beginner to intermediate level classes. You must register for each class individually.

The library has online, electronic resources for job seekers that can be accessed from home.

Families with children can join us for a variety of stories, songs, rhymes and movement activities. We'll build early literacy skills while having fun!
