The Animation Club is an opportunity for early-stage creatives to come together and learn about animation. Participants will engage in a virtual Q&As with Aha Media's production team, get behind-the-scenes access to the studio’s productions, and explore creative exercises to build their own skills. Participants can attend one session, but we encourage everyone to attend all three for a more well-rounded and beneficial experience.
October 3rd - Character Design
Learn how professionals adapt a pre-existing style guide to create fun and unique characters. In this session, participants will get hands-on experience, exploring what it's like to be a concept artist working for a studio. Please bring a sketchbook and pencil, iPad, or drawing tablet with you.
October 11th - Virtual Q&A w/ a Special Guest
In this session participants will have the opportunity to chat with Aha Media's very own artists. As a fully remote studio, Aha’s artists live in different cities across North America and will zoom in to the session to answer your questions about a career in animation.
October 17th - Virtual Behind-the-Scenes at Aha Media
