Join Miss Eliza for songs, rhymes, and bounces followed by a short playtime. While the activities provided are targeted toward babies, older siblings are welcome to enjoy the session.

Join us for songs, rhymes, fingerplays, stories, and fun! Older and younger siblings are welcome.

Toddlertime is about 30 minutes and is followed by a 15-minute playtime. 

Rhyme Time is an interactive program consisting of various fun skill-building activities, such as rhymes, songs, bounces, and more. The program incorporates musical instruments, scarves, and parachutes.

Join us to share stories, songs, rhymes, and play intended for a wide range of ages for the whole family! We'll build early literacy skills while having fun! Parent participation is encouraged. 

Italian speakers and language students are welcome to join this friendly conversation club. 

A great way to meet friends, speak in Italian, and share cultural activities.

English language learners are invited to join us at the library to practice speaking and listening skills while making new friends in a casual, conversational atmosphere.

Parents and babies are invited to join us for this drop-in, unstructured open baby play. It is a perfect time to play and give baby an chance to interact with others while caregivers get to know one another.

Spanish speakers and language students are welcome to join this friendly conversation club. 

A great way to meet friends, speak in Spanish, and share cultural activities.

If English is not your first language, join us at the library to practice your speaking and listening skills and improve your English vocabulary in a casual, relaxed atmosphere.

To help us better manage donations, we ask all individuals wanting to donate three or more boxes of material to register for an appointment. You may arrive anytime between 10 am and 12 noon with your donation. 

Help your child gain confidence and reading fluency by reading to a therapy dog! To get your full reading time, you must arrive on time and with a book.

Reserved for TPL tutors to meet with their students. This is an extension of the Talk Time English Language Club program. 

Mystery, romance, and non-fiction, oh my! This Adult Services book club that features a variety of genres, with a different staff member leading each discussion. All are welcome.

Ron Campbell will highlight unique, under the radar historical sites in Oakland County. Come on down to the library to learn about these hidden gems, and make plans to visit them!  

TAEB meeting

Tween Advisory Board (grades 6-8) is looking for members to help recommend tween programming and services they would like to see in the Teen Department.

Grades K-6. Join Red Lotus Yoga as we spend an hour introducing the benefits of breath work, bringing mindfulness in everyday situations, and have some fun playing in yoga postures!

A fun & festive environment to meet new friends and read great books. There will be trivia contests, prizes, and more!

Join us for Trivia Night at Stumblebum Beer Co. in Troy and put your knowledge to the test! Teams of up to 6 participants are welcome, but be sure to register your team in advance to secure your spot.
