Join Miss Eliza for songs, rhymes, and bounces followed by a short playtime. While the activities provided are targeted toward babies, older siblings are welcome to enjoy the session.

Join us for songs, rhymes, fingerplays, stories, and fun! Older and younger siblings are welcome.

Toddlertime is about 30 minutes and is followed by a 15-minute playtime. 

Rhyme Time is an interactive program consisting of various fun skill-building activities, such as rhymes, songs, bounces, and more. The program incorporates musical instruments, scarves, and parachutes.

Join us to share stories, songs, rhymes, and play intended for a wide range of ages for the whole family! We'll build early literacy skills while having fun! Parent participation is encouraged. 

French speakers and language students are welcome to join this friendly conversation club. 

A great way to meet friends, speak in French, and share cultural activities.

English language learners are invited to join us at the library to practice speaking and listening skills while making new friends in a casual, conversational atmosphere.

Parents and babies are invited to join us for this drop-in, unstructured open baby play. It is a perfect time to play and give baby an chance to interact with others while caregivers get to know one another.

Spanish speakers and language students are welcome to join this friendly conversation club.

If English is not your first language, join us at the library to practice your speaking and listening skills and improve your English vocabulary in a casual, relaxed atmosphere.

To help us better manage donations, we ask all individuals wanting to donate three or more boxes of material to register for an appointment. You may arrive anytime between 10 am and 12 noon with your donation. 

Help your child gain confidence and reading fluency by reading to a therapy dog! To get your full reading time, you must arrive on time and with a book.

Tween Advisory Board (grades 6-8) is looking for members to help recommend tween programming and services they would like to see in the Teen Department.

Grades K-6. Join Red Lotus Yoga as we spend an hour introducing the benefits of breath work, bringing mindfulness in everyday situations, and have some fun playing in yoga postures!

A fun & festive environment to meet new friends and read great books. There will be trivia contests, prizes, and more!

Having your own dinosaur egg is the next best thing to having your own dinosaur, right? Make your own dinosaur egg using thumbtacks as scales and a Styrofoam egg as the base. For grades 6-12

Relax and explore air dry clay as a medium by making creative creatures to take home! 

Celebrate this year’s summer library theme, “Unearth a Story,” with your very own gemstone and macramé keychain. The class will be led by a veteran macramé-er; attendees will make a small keychain they can take with them at the end of class.

Join us for an indoor camping experience! Families can bring blankets and pillows to build a comfy fort using tables & chairs in the meeting room and once we are all cozy we will sit around a pretend campfire for songs, stories, and a snack.

Dive into the Detroit Prohibition era, the underbelly of the felons and mobsters and investigate the stories of Jimmy Hoffa, The Purple Gang, Detroit Mob families, gambling rackets, crooks, cops and more. 

Families with children can join us for a variety of stories, songs, rhymes and movement activities.
