Join Miss Eliza for songs, rhymes, and bounces followed by a short playtime. While the activities provided are targeted toward babies, older siblings are welcome to enjoy the session.

Join us for songs, rhymes, fingerplays, stories, and fun! Older and younger siblings are welcome.

Toddlertime is about 30 minutes and is followed by a 15-minute playtime. 

Rhyme Time is an interactive program consisting of various fun skill-building activities, such as rhymes, songs, bounces, and more. The program incorporates musical instruments, scarves, and parachutes.

Join us to share stories, songs, rhymes, and play! We'll build early literacy skills while having fun! Parent participation is encouraged. Registration applies to the entire three-week session. 

Italian speakers and language students are welcome to join this friendly conversation club. 

A great way to meet friends, speak in Italian, and share cultural activities.

English language learners are invited to join us at the library to practice speaking and listening skills while making new friends in a casual, conversational atmosphere.

Japanese speakers and language students are welcome to join this friendly conversation club. 

A great way to meet friends, speak in Japanese, and share cultural activities. No need to register; drop in any time!

If English is not your first language, join us at the library to practice your speaking and listening skills and improve your English vocabulary in a casual, relaxed atmosphere.

To help us better manage donations, we ask all individuals wanting to donate three or more boxes of material to register for an appointment. You may arrive anytime between 10 am and 12 noon with your donation.

Drop in for an hour of screen-free, brain-boosting fun. Puzzle your way through Sudoku and word searches or relax with a coloring book and Play-Doh. Materials will be provided for in-library use. 

Calling everyone who enjoys crocheting, knitting and other fiber arts. Drop in to work on your latest projects in a fun collaborative setting. All skill levels welcome. You must bring your own materials. No registration required. 

Share your love of Minecraft with this unique mosaic. You will use various colored squares to create your own custom design. No registration necessary. 

Grades K-5. Help your child gain confidence and reading fluency by reading to a therapy dog! To get your full reading time, you must arrive on time and with a book.

TAB meetings are now back in person! If you would like to join TAB please email the Teen Services Librarian (Holly. Osentoski@troymi.gov). The Troy Public Library seeks young people to join the Teen Advisory Board.

Do you enjoy reading and wish you could discuss your favorite books? Attend Literary Lounge to participate in book themed activities while talking about popular books and media with other avid readers.

Worlds collide when we combine a story with a STEAM (Science Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) challenge. Kids will hear the Chinese Folktale, Nine Color Deer, then will work on painting with watercolors. 

From raindrops, sun, to leaves - make colorful suncatchers using crayons, wax paper and heat!

Please arrive on time for this program. We are unable to admit attendees who arrive later than 10 minutes after the start time.

Catch spring fever at TPL with your very own floral paintings! Participants will receive a paint-by-numbers canvas along with acrylic paint and brushes to create their own masterpieces.

Love the books you see all over TikTok? Come talk about them with people who actually get the hype!

Families with children can join us for a variety of stories, songs, rhymes and movement activities.
