Rhyme Time is an interactive program consisting of various fun skill-building activities, such as rhymes, songs, bounces, and more. The program incorporates musical instruments, scarves, and parachutes.

Join us to share stories, songs, rhymes, followed by playtime! This storytime is structured to focus on kindergarten readiness skills. Parent participation is encouraged.

Japanese speakers and language students are welcome to join this friendly conversation club. 

A great way to meet friends, speak in Japanese, and share cultural activities.

Meets on the 4th Friday of each month.

Parents and babies are invited to join us for this drop-in, unstructured open baby play. It is a perfect time to play and give baby an chance to interact with others while caregivers get to know one another.

Preschoolers (ages 3-5 years) are invited to drop-in and make some gobble-tastic turkey crafts! Crafts will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis, while supplies last.

To help us better manage donations, we ask all individuals wanting to donate three or more boxes of material to register for an appointment. You may arrive anytime between 10 am and 12 noon with your donation.

Elder abuse is more common than you might think, but the signs can be difficult to recognize or mistaken for symptoms of dementia or the elderly person’s frailty.

Join us for a craft to spread kindness! Participants can create thank you cards to express their gratitude and thanksgiving for all the wonderful people in their lives.

Because demand for this program is high, students who register but do not attend or cancel their registration beforehand will be put on a waiting list for any future exams.

Bring the whole family to our Storybook Trail to read this month's book and complete an activity for a prize. You can start your walk anytime from 4:30-5:30pm, but you must finish by 6pm to collect your prize.

Ring in the holiday spirit with another installment of the Upcycled Books series, as we create honeycomb ornaments from recycled books. These bookish ornaments will add a unique touch to your holiday decor! Registration required.

Join local artist, Lance Red, for a drawing workshop focused on Yokai, the root inspiration for Pokemon, Anime Yu-Gi-Oh, and Power Rangers. Learn about the folklore, Japanese culture, and basic drawing process.

Learn from a new tech device each session and build your problem solving skills! There will be teamwork opportunities and challenges. For grades 6-12.

Award-winning Native American author Mona Susan Power will discuss her story of three generations of Yanktonai Dakota women from the 19th century to the present day, told in part through the stories of the dolls they carried.

Families with children can join us for a variety of stories, songs, rhymes and movement activities.
