Join Miss Eliza for songs, rhymes, and bounces followed by a short playtime. While the activities provided are targeted toward babies, older siblings are welcome to enjoy the session.

Join us for songs, rhymes, fingerplays, stories, and fun!

Rhyme Time is an interactive program consisting of various, fun skill-building activities such as rhymes, songs, bounces and more. The program incorporates musical instruments, scarves and parachutes.

Join us to share stories, songs, rhymes, and crafts! This storytime is structured to focus on kindergarten readiness skills. Parent participation is encouraged.

English language learners are invited to join us at the library to practice speaking and listening skills while making new friends in a casual, conversational atmosphere.

All levels are welcome.

Parents and babies are invited to join us for this drop-in, unstructured open baby play. It is a perfect time to play and give baby an chance to interact with others while caregivers get to know one another.

If English is not your first language, join us at the library to practice your speaking and listening skills and improve your English vocabulary in a casual, relaxed atmosphere.

Troy teens (6^th -12^th grade) who are working to improve their English language skills are invited to join us at the library to practice speaking and listening skills while making new friends in a fun, no-p

To help us better manage donations, we ask all individuals wanting to donate three or more boxes of material to register for an appointment. You may arrive anytime between 10 am and 12 noon with your donation.

Get hands-on with Sphero Indi! After learning the basics about this robot, participants will work together to design obstacle courses for one another.

English language learners are invited to meet for coffee and conversation at Biggby Coffee in Troy. Discussion is always laid-back and friendly, and you are not required to have read the whole book to participate.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for MAKING ice cream! Tweens (ages 9 - 13 yrs) will learn a little about what goes into making ice cream, then test their math skills as we measure out ingredients and make individual ice cream in bags!

We provide the movie, you provide the non-sticky snacks and closed-lidded drinks! Join us for Wonder Park (PG) 2021.

Children ages 3-13 are invited to stop by the Youth Services area to make a fun craft project!  These quick projects will take 10-15 minutes to complete, and we will have a new craft to make each week while you are visiting the library. 

Help your child gain confidence and reading fluency by reading to a therapy dog! To get your full reading time, you must arrive on time and with a book.

Bring the whole family to our Storybook Trail to read this month's book and complete an activity for a prize. You can start your walk anytime from 4:30-5:30pm, but you must finish by 6pm to collect your prize. 

Ages 3+. In this adaptive storytime we explore our 5 senses with stories, songs, and sensory play!

Celebrate all things Taylor Swift by making friendship bracelets, enjoying themed snacks, and playing games with your fellow Swifties. For grades 6-12

BCB stands for Beginning Chapter Books, and is geared toward kids in 2nd - 3rd grades, who are beginning to tackle chapter books on their own! 

Join us for an indoor camping experience! Families can bring blankets and pillows to build a comfy fort using tables & chairs in the meeting room and once we are all cozy we will sit around a pretend campfire for songs, stories, and a snack.

Families with children can join us for a variety of stories, songs, rhymes and movement activities. We'll build early literacy skills while having fun!
