Rhyme Time is an interactive program consisting of various, fun skill-building activities such as rhymes, songs, bounces and more.  The program incorporates musical instruments, scarves and parachutes.

Join us to share stories, songs, rhymes, and crafts! This storytime is structured to focus on kindergarten readiness skills. Parent participation is encouraged.

Formerly known as the G-Suite, Google Workspace is a collection of cloud computing, productivity and collaboration tools, software and products developed and marketed by Google.

Sing, Say, Point, Play Playgroup is an 8-week program to help babies learn to talk and children learn to read. The playgroup begins with a storytime followed by open play.

To help us better manage donations, we ask all individuals wanting to donate three or more boxes of material to register for an appointment. You may arrive anytime between 10 am and 12 noon with your donation. 

Bring your 1-2 yr old child and explore music and movement activities that promote learning and fun!

Help your child gain confidence and reading fluency by reading to a therapy dog! To get your full reading time, you must arrive on time and with a book.

Experience court through a mock trial. Be an attorney or a witness on the defense or prosecution, and go through preparations for court. Finally, you will appear before a judge and jury and argue for the verdict!

Grades K-2. Create structures and stories during an hour of free play with our LEGO® collection!

A fun & festive environment to meet new friends and read great books. There will be trivia contests, prizes, and more!

Join us at Joe Kools Troy Bar & Grill to eat, drink, and chat about the monthly pick.​

Grades 1-3. Worlds collide when we combine a story with a STEM (Science Technology, Engineering, and Math) challenge.

Grades K-6. Join Red Lotus Yoga as we spend an hour introducing the benefits of breath work, bringing mindfulness in everyday situations, and have some fun playing in yoga postures!

This introductory class will teach the fundamentals of CAD(computer-aided design) using OnShape.

Troy Historic Village and Troy Public Library are hosting two free book discussions on Angeline Boulley's Firekeeper's Daughter at the Niles-Barnard House at the Village.

This month's selection is All My Sons by Arthur Miller.

Families with children can join us for a variety of stories, songs, rhymes and movement activities. We'll build early literacy skills while having fun!
