Join Miss Eliza for songs, rhymes, and bounces followed by a short playtime. While the activities provided are targeted toward babies, older siblings are welcome to enjoy the session.

Join us for songs, rhymes, fingerplays, stories, and fun!

Rhyme Time is an interactive program consisting of various, fun skill-building activities such as rhymes, songs, bounces and more.  The program incorporates musical instruments, scarves and parachutes.

Join us to share stories, songs, rhymes, and crafts! This storytime is structured to focus on kindergarten readiness skills. Parent participation is encouraged.

English language learners are invited to join us at the library to practice speaking and listening skills while making new friends in a casual, conversational atmosphere.

All levels are welcome! 

Sing, Say, Point, Play Playgroup is an 8-week program to help babies learn to talk and children learn to read. The playgroup begins with a storytime followed by open play.

To help us better manage donations, we ask all individuals wanting to donate three or more boxes of material to register for an appointment. You may arrive anytime between 10 am and 12 noon with your donation. 

Mystery, romance, and non-fiction, oh my! Join the newest TPL Adult Information Services book club that includes titles of all types. Each meeting will feature a different genre, with titles chosen and discussed by different librarians.

English language learners are invited to meet for coffee and conversation at Biggby Coffee in Troy. Discussion is always laid-back and friendly, and you are not required to have read the whole book to participate.

Come and experience an in-person workshop for computer beginners or those looking to sharpen their Windows 10 knowledge. Patrons will learn how to navigate their desktop and system, manage their files and folders, use application, and more.

Grades K-5. Help your child gain confidence and reading fluency by reading to a therapy dog! To get your full reading time, you must arrive on time and with a book.

Grades 3-5. Come enjoy a time of creative play with other LEGO® builders. 

A fun & festive environment to meet new friends and read great books. There will be trivia contests, prizes, and more!

Join us at Joe Kools Troy Bar & Grill to eat, drink, and chat about the monthly pick.​

Grades K-6. Join Red Lotus Yoga as we spend an hour introducing the benefits of breath work, bringing mindfulness in everyday situations, and have some fun playing in yoga postures!

Learn from a new tech device each session and build your problem solving skills! There will be teamwork opportunities and challenges. This program is run by the Troy Teen Advisory Board. For grades 6-12.

Grades K-2. Pick up a copy of National Geographic: Rainforests; read it with your child, who will improve reading skills while learning all about the exciting world of rainforests around the world.

Your clothing can say a lot about you. Explore costume and adornment throughout the ages, and discover the many ways that personal, political, and cultural identity is communicated through clothing and body art.

Families with children can join us for a variety of stories, songs, rhymes and movement activities. We'll build early literacy skills while having fun!
