Staff only need to attend one session. 

If English is not your first language, join us at the library to practice your speaking and listening skills and improve your English vocabulary in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. All levels are welcome!

Join us for stories, songs, rhymes, and fun! Registration is for the entire 3-week session, and opens a week before the first storytime of the session. Older and younger siblings are welcome.

Tune in with your child to watch a special recorded storytime!

Stories, songs and rhymes for preschoolers. Registration applies to the entire three-week session, and begins 1 weeks before the session starts. Older and younger siblings welcome.

To help us better manage donations, we ask all individuals wanting to donate 3 or more boxes of books to register for one of our available appointments. You may arrive anytime between 10am and 1pm with your donation. 

Want to get better at playing chess? Join us to hone your skills! Attendees should come already knowing how pieces move across the board for these beginner to intermediate level classes. You must register for each class individually.

Join TPL Youth Services at the City of Troy Farmers Market! Register for our Summer Library Program, collect your prizes as you earn them, and pick-up one of our weekly craft kits while supplies last. 

Join us to learn how to use the video tutorial library of LinkedIn Learning for Libraries, Creativebug art and craft video classes, and interactive language learning tool Mango Languages.

Are you wondering what to expect from high school? Are you eager to learn how to make it a great experience? Come to this virtual party and hang out with recent graduates and upperclassmen who will share all the secrets.

Test your knowledge of Disney animal trivia! Recommend teams of 2–5 players. An adult is required for ages 10 and under.

All TAB meetings will be held on Zoom for the foreseeable future. If you would like to join TAB please email the Teen Services Librarian (Holly. Osentoski@troymi.gov). The Troy Public Library seeks young people to join the Teen Advisory Board.

Do you have a great business idea? Do you want to learn how these ideas can be turned into possible businesses? Join us for a business workshop for teens. Teens will then present their business plan to a panel of judges to win gift cards!
