Week Calendar

Bring the whole family to our Storybook Trail to read this month's book and complete an activity for a prize. You can start your walk anytime from 10-11:30am, but you must finish by noon to collect your prize. 

If English is not your first language, join us at the library to practice your speaking and listening skills and improve your English vocabulary in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. All levels are welcome!

Join us for stories, songs, rhymes, and fun! Registration is for the entire 3-week session, and opens a week before the first storytime of the session. Older and younger siblings are welcome.

Tune in with your child to watch a special recorded storytime!

To help us better manage donations, we ask all individuals wanting to donate 3 or more boxes of books to register for one of our available appointments. You may arrive anytime between 10am and 1pm with your donation. 

Feel free to bring a lunch and come join the Booked for Lunch group in discussing this month's title, The Day the World Came to Town by Jim DeFede.

Join TPL Youth Services at the City of Troy Farmers Market! Register for our Summer Library Program, collect your prizes as you earn them, and pick-up one of our weekly craft kits while supplies last. 

Join other kids for games which involve silly drawings! You don’t need to be good at drawing to enjoy this program!

All TAB meetings will be held on Zoom for the foreseeable future. If you would like to join TAB please email the Teen Services Librarian (Holly. Osentoski@troymi.gov). The Troy Public Library seeks young people to join the Teen Advisory Board.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to sleep in a Bedouin tent camp?

Do you have a great business idea? Do you want to learn how these ideas can be turned into possible businesses? Join us for a business workshop for teens. Teens will then present their business plan to a panel of judges to win gift cards!

Rachel Leightner, Wildlife Outreach Coordinator with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, will share incredible tales of wildlife conservation success in Michigan.
