Help! Goldie McMuffin took a nap and left his pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. When he woke up, all of the gold was gone! Come join us to work through clues, locks, and puzzles to figure out how to find his missing gold.

Corktown is Detroit's oldest named neighborhood and its best resurrection story. With deep immigrant roots, fantastic tales of sports heroes and gangsters, and century old architectural gems, it is perhaps the most "Detroit" locale that we have.

Rhyme Time is an interactive program consisting of various fun skill-building activities, such as rhymes, songs, bounces, and more. The program incorporates musical instruments, scarves, and parachutes.

Teen Anime Night is open to seasoned anime fans or anyone new to the genre! This is your chance to hang out with fellow fans, watch some great anime, sample Japanese snacks, and create some anime themed crafts. For grades 6-12

Create structures and stories during an hour of free play with our LEGO® collection!

Participants will have 45 min to build their models, after cleaning up, adults will be invited in to see their incredible creations.

French speakers and language students are welcome to join this friendly conversation club.

English language learners are invited to join us at the library to practice speaking and listening skills while making new friends in a casual, conversational atmosphere.

Parents and babies are invited to join us for this drop-in, unstructured open baby play. It is a perfect time to play and give baby an chance to interact with others while caregivers get to know one another.

Spanish speakers and language students are welcome to join this friendly conversation club.

If English is not your first language, join us at the library to practice your speaking and listening skills and improve your English vocabulary in a casual, relaxed atmosphere.

To help us better manage donations, we ask all individuals wanting to donate three or more boxes of material to register for an appointment. You may arrive anytime between 10 am and 12 noon with your donation. 

Help your child gain confidence and reading fluency by reading to a therapy dog! To get your full reading time, you must arrive on time and with a book.
