While much of Michigan's wildlife is hibernating, there is still a lot to see during the winter months. Owls begin their breeding season in late November and are more visible during this time.

Make Your Own Snow Globe for Teens

Participants may create their own snow globe with only a few simple ingredients during this winter activity. First fill the container with water first, followed by a small amount of vegetable glycerin to thicken the water.
