Join Miss Eliza for songs, rhymes, and bounces followed by a short playtime. While the activities provided are targeted toward babies, older siblings are welcome to enjoy the session.
Priority registration will be given to Troy Public Library card holders. If you do not have a TPL issued library card, register WITHOUT a card to be put on the Pending Waitlist. If there is space available closer to the event you will be moved to the main list.
TAB meetings are now back in person! If you would like to join TAB please email the Teen Services Librarian (Holly. Osentoski@troymi.gov). The Troy Public Library seeks young people to join the Teen Advisory Board. Board members will have exclusive opportunity to plan events and programs, suggest improvements to the Teen department, and to promote the library throughout the community.
Join us for the theatre premiere of Spellers: The Movie! Inspired by the book Underestimated, the new full-length documentary Spellers challenges conventional wisdom regarding a group relegated to society’s margins: non-speakers with autism, who most “experts” believe are cognitively disabled. The movie tells the story of eight non-speakers who found their voice through the miraculous process of using a letterboard to communicate, showing as one speaker said they, “think, feel, and learn just like everyone else.”
