Summer is a great time to learn a new hobby. Participants will learn basic embroidery stitches and use them to create a one of a kind bookmark.

Ages and grades are strictly enforced: to allow each child to feel successful, provide the best experience for all attendees, and offer opportunities for social and emotional growth within peer groups, children who are not in the correct grade or age-group for this program will be turned away at the door.
All children ages 12 and younger must be in the company of a parent/adult care-giver at all times while in the library. Even if the child is attending a program, it is required that the parent/adult caregiver remain in the library building throughout the program.

Employing a technique that dates back to the days of the Renaissance art academy, I will teach you the fundamentals of how to accurately draw what you see in this basic lesson—even if you have little or no experience.
