Rhyme Time is an interactive program consisting of various, fun skill-building activities such as rhymes, songs, bounces and more. The program incorporates musical instruments, scarves and parachutes.
English language learners are invited to meet for coffee and conversation at Biggby Coffee in Troy. Discussion is always laid-back and friendly, and you are not required to have read the whole book to participate.
Grades 3-6. Relax through doodling! Engage your body and mind to make some cool doodles such as Zentangles and geometric art.
Ages and grades are strictly enforced: to allow each child to feel successful, provide the best experience for all attendees, and offer opportunities for social and emotional growth within peer groups, children who are not in the correct grade or age-group for this program will be turned away at the door.
All children ages 12 and younger must be in the company of a parent/adult care-giver at all times while in the library. Even if the child is attending a program, it is required that the parent/adult caregiver remain in the library building throughout the program.
