Event Details

In the 1960’s and 1970’s, artists celebrated American modern culture while also creating works which conveyed the social and political commentary of the times. Detroit Institute of Arts docent Connie Corrigan will explore the imagery and social commentary of pop culture through pieces which both celebrate and critique mass media and 1960’s-1970’s society.
