From Cerberus in ancient Greek mythology to the war dogs, pets, and hunting dogs of Rome, former Metropolitan Museum of Art Educator Dr. Michael Norris will explore examples in Classical art to learn how man’s best friend preserved the life, limb, and property of his master.
