Event Details

Join us for a chance to learn about and to create sugar skulls – Alfeñique – made from sugar paste. This is a traditional Day of the Dead craft with unique recipes passed down from family to family. Miguel Noguez Cabrera will describe the history and skill that surrounds this craft, and show patrons how to create and decorate their own skulls. This program is open to families. Caregivers must be present. Part of the TPL Global Culture Series

Priority registration will be given to Troy Public Library card holders. If you do not have a TPL issued library card, you can register without a card to be put on the Pending Waitlist. If there is space available after registration closes, you will be moved onto the completed registration list.
