Event Details

Gion Matsuri, Japan's most famous festival, began in 869! Over the month of July, Kyoto is filled with street performers, food stands and a float filled parade. We will do our best to recreate this exciting festival on the grounds of the Troy Public Library including traditional games, street food and music. All ages are invited; registration is required. Part of the TPL Global Culture Series.
