The Troy City Council approved ballot language that gives residents the opportunity to shape the City's future.
The ballot language, to be voted on November 4,2025, will ask voters if the City should borrow up to $137 million to be paid back over 20 years to:
- Build a new Library;
- Improve local roads;
- Invest in parks and recreation amenities; and
- Support public safety.
If this proposal is approved by voters, the estimated millage that will be levied to pay the bonds in the first year is 1.1327 mills. For a home with a $175,000 taxable value, the bond levy would increase taxes by $198 a year.
Attend this Town Hall to learn about the proposed projects for the new bond, and to have your questions answered.
