Pick-up for Solar Eclipse Glasses starts on March 23. You may pick up your glasses at the Adult or Youth Information Desk. One pair per household. Glasses must be picked up by no later than April 1. Glasses not claimed by EOD April 1 will be given out on a first come, first serve basis.
By registering for this program, you agree that you and your household have read and understand the below warning: Never look at the sun without special eye protection. When viewing the eclipse, use eclipse glasses at all times when any part of the Sun is visible. Direct viewing of the sun can cause permanent damage if the proper precautions are not taken. Adequate eye protection specifically designed for viewing the Sun is essential and should be worn so that no harmful rays from the Sun can reach the eye.
Solar Eclipse glasses are limited to Troy Public Library cardholders only.
