Revolutionary War Soldier Burials in Metro Detroit

Join author, photographer and architectural historian Dale A. Carlson for a presentation on the burials of soldiers from the American Revolution, including three right here in Troy. This presentation will focus primarily on the biographies of the interred, but also touches lightly upon cemetery history and architecture. Learn more about locally buried Revolutionary soldiers who knew George Washington, who participated in the Boston Tea Party, who practiced law with John Adams, and even a veteran who was born a slave and died free at 115 years old.
