Program Description

Event Details

Sensory play focuses on activities that engage your child’s senses, which helps promote motor skills, cognitive development, and language. Kids (and their caregivers) in attendance will enjoy toys/activities that emphasize the aforementioned skills, while enjoying healthy social interactions with their peers.  

Priority registration will be given to Troy Public Library card holders. If you do not have a TPL issued library card, register WITHOUT a card to be put on the Pending Waitlist. If there is space available closer to the event you will be moved to the main list.​

Registrant Age/Grade

Ages and grades are strictly enforced: to allow each child to feel successful, provide the best experience for all attendees, and offer opportunities for social and emotional growth within peer groups, children who are not in the correct grade or age-group for this program will be turned away at the door.

Unattended Child Policy

All children ages 11 and younger must be in the company of a parent/adult care-giver at all times while in the library. Even if the child is attending a program, it is required that the parent/adult caregiver remain in the library building throughout the program.
