This live planetarium show presented by Wayne State University PhD student Ethan Partington will start with a tour of the night sky over Detroit, then fly you to each planet in our solar system (and Pluto) for a virtual exploration. The program will conclude with a Q&A about the astrophysics of our solar system and beyond. Ethan is currently studying the extreme environments around distant super-massive black holes using NICER, a state-of-the-art X-ray detector located on the International Space Station.
