Join author Supriya Kelkar as she presents "Your Story is Important, Plus Q&A" where she will talk about writing when she was growing up and offer tips on how to write your story, including a brief writing workshop. (Target audience: Grades 5-7). Supriya Kelkar is the award-winning Michigan author of middle-grade novels Ahimsa, American as Paneer Pie, and Strong as Fire, Fierce as Flame as well as several books for early readers.
One registration per family. Priority registration will be given to Troy Public Library card holders. If you do not have a TPL issued library card, register WITHOUT a card to be put on the Pending Waitlist. If there is space available closer to the event you will be moved to the main list.
