As the first woman to be appointed Chief Engineer of the Mackinac Bridge Authority (MBA), Kim Nowack spent 17 years overseeing bridge design, construction, maintenance, and inspection. Now Executive Secretary and CEO of the MBA, Kim will share the history, evolution and future of the 63-year-old “Mighty Mac,” the fifth longest suspension bridge in the world and the longest bridge in the Western Hemisphere.
