Once a delicacy meant only for the wealthy, cookies have changed over time to become the standard American Christmastime treat. Food historian Sarah Wassberg Johnson will discuss the history of cookies in America, Christmas traditions through the ages, and the reasons why we eat so many cookies during the holiday season.
