Pick up a copy of Ada Twist, Scientist, The Why files: all about plants!; read it with your child, who will improve reading skills while learning so much about plants! When kids are done reading, they get to keep the book (while supplies last) and join us for a discussion and activity!
Registration opens 2/27 and is in-person only; each child should be registered, but only one book per household will be given out.
Ages and grades are strictly enforced: to allow each child to feel successful, provide the best experience for all attendees, and offer opportunities for social and emotional growth within peer groups, children who are not in the correct grade or age-group for this program will be turned away at the door.
All children ages 12 and younger must be in the company of a parent/adult care-giver at all times while in the library. Even if the child is attending a program, it is required that the parent/adult caregiver remain in the library building throughout the program.
