Event Details
Can you survive this program? Inspired by, I Survived book the American Revolution, by Lauren Tarshis, kids will test their survival skills, work through a variety of activities, and learn interesting facts about the United State's early history (in celebration of the U.S.A. turning 250 years old this year!) Kids are not required to read the book, but some of the activities will be based on the book, so reading it will definitely help!
Priority registration given to Troy residents. If you do not have Troy-issued library card, register without a library card to be put on the pending waitlist. If there is space available for non-Troy residents, you will be notified 1-week before the event.

Registrant Age/Grade
Ages and grades are strictly enforced: to allow each child to feel successful, provide the best experience for all attendees, and offer opportunities for social and emotional growth within peer groups, children who are not in the correct grade or age-group for this program will be turned away at the door.
Unattended Child Policy
All children ages 11 and younger must be in the company of a parent/adult care-giver at all times while in the library. Even if the child is attending a program, it is required that the parent/adult caregiver remain in the library building throughout the program.
