Meet the “silent guardians of Detroit” - the gargoyles and grotesques hiding in the city's architecture -- with historian and photographer Jeff Morrison. Winner of the 2020 Michigan Notable Book Award and a 2019 State History Award for Outstanding Michigan History Publication, Jeff will present fascinating building features up close using a telephoto lens, and share long-forgotten tales of how these ornamental details came to be.

The Troy Community Center is located at 3179 Livernois Rd. in Troy.  Enter from the Livernois entrance; program is in room 304.
