 Automotive history expert Russell Doré details the early efforts by Henry Ford and Thomas Edison to build an electric car, the reasons why early electric vehicles outsold gasoline-powered cars, and why they were overtaken by gasolinepowered vehicles. What caused the resurgence of electric cars, and how did Detroit become a major player in the exciting future of electric selfdriving vehicles?
