"Alchemy" conjures exotic bubbling chemicals, strange old tomes filled with symbolic riddles, and robed figures laboring in hidden laboratories. What was alchemy, and how did it become the chemistry of today? If you’re a Harry Potter fan, science buff, or interested in spiritual transmutation, join Dr. Justin Sledge for this presentation grounded in the history of alchemical art and symbolism.

Priority registration will be given to Troy Public Library card holders. If you do not have a TPL-issued library card, you may register without a card to be put on the Pending Waitlist. If there is space available one week before the program you will be moved to the main registration list and notified.
