An Introduction to the Anishnaabeg

The Anishnaabeg, a collective of three tribes known as the Three Fires, have long called Michigan home. Dr. Kevin Leonard, director of the Native American institute at Michigan State University, will discuss the history, cultures, and legacy of the Anishnaabeg, as well as their contemporary lives and their place in the Land Back Movement.

Priority registration will be given to Troy Public Library card holders. If you do not have a TPL issued library card, you can register without a card to be put on the Pending Waitlist. If there is space available one week before the program you will be moved to the main registration list and notified.
