Local author Michael Zadoorian joins TPL Director Cathy Russ for an up-close chat about many things: his life experiences in Detroit that shape his writing, his books that have won many awards including Beautiful Music, a 2019 Michigan Notable Book, and The Leisure Seeker, which was adapted for a motion picture. His latest work, The Narcissism of Small Differences is a comedy of compromises, their consequences, and the people we become because of them—in our quest for a life that is our own and no one else’s.
