Picture yourself 100 years ago, flipping through a kit home mail-order catalog. You find the perfect plan, write a check, and send it in. Such was the unique experience of finding your forever home through a catalog in the early 20th century, and many of those homes are still standing today. Immerse yourself in the history and legacy of kit homes with Ron Campbell, Principal Planner and Preservation Architect for Oakland County’s Economic Development & Community Affairs division.

Priority registration will be given to Troy Public Library card holders. If you do not have a TPL issued library card, you can register without a card to be put on the Pending Waitlist. If there is space available after registration closes, you will be moved onto the completed registration list.
